Eat&Run
All you can do is run!

Description

This is a 3D endless runner with randomly generated tiles, where the player needs to go as far as they can by avoiding obstacles and managing their energy bar by collecting food during the game.

The prototype is based on a pitch document which is viewable from the links of the project.

Objectives

The purpose of this project is to enhance an exercise about a simple endless runner with randomly generated tiles and collectables.

​

In the first iteration:

  • Try the mechanic of energy bar

  • Player character's body changes by eating or not food

  • Show the vaporwave aesthetic

  • Feel the sensation of speed

​

Future Improvements
  • Switches between just two lines on the path

  • Speed changes because of the body's weight

  • Varieties of obstacles

  • Coin collection for skins and power-ups

​

How to Play
  • The player character is autorunning

  • Press A and D to move left and right

  • Press Space to jump

  • Collect food to increase the energy

Snowballing Maze

Snowballing Maze
All you need is snow

Description

This is a ball maze game prototype, but the player is a little snowball that will grow absorbing the snow on the terrain. Different from classic ball maze games, in this one the direction is straight behind the player and in the direction of the camera, so the player can't see the obstacles until they're visible in their range of vision.
Finally, a gigantic snowplough threats the snowball following it, and it would destroy the snowball if the player loses so much time.

The purpose of this project is to enhance an exercise about a simple ball maze with collectables.

In the first iteration:

  • Try the point of view in second person

  • Player character's size increase with the snow on terrain

​

Future Improvements
  • Making obstacles more predictable

  • Making feel more "maze"

How to Play
  • W A S D to move around the snowball

  • Collect the snow to increase the size

The Stolen Yahtzee

The Stolen Yahtzee
Conquer your stolen points and destroy the enemy

Description

The purpose of this prototype is to improve and enhance the classic Yahtzee game (http://www.yahtzee.org.uk/index.html) with new mechanics, keeping included:

  • Dice

  • Rerolls

  • Combo

The prototype is based on a pitch document which is viewable from the links of the project.

Objectives

The purpose of this project is to enhance the classic Yahtzee game by adding a few new mechanics.

​

In the first iteration:

  • Make the game more unpredictable until the last turn
  • Verifying if the new mechanics are comprehensible

Future Improvements
  • Remove the bonus for the first phase and change the points for the turns: +3 at 73 points, +4 at 84, and +5 at 103
